We sailed from England and
Landed in France, and arrived at La Chenardais not really by chance, to David &
Debbie we'll drink many toasts, for this fabulous holiday - due to our Hosts, to
this wonderful country we bid an adieu, until our acquaintances we can renew.
Many thanks and lots of love. Tony, Jean, Christine & Dereck -Hayling Island |

Arrived mostly late
because of cancelled ferry. David not only waited up until 2 a.m. but
also rescued two disoriented travellers from Dol. A great place, great
Hosts. Will certainly recommend

An idyllic as we
hoped, as quiet as we needed, a perfect place to explore from with
wonderful Hosts and your lovely home. Thank you for making us so welcome
and we hope to return in the next 75 years sometime! Perhaps next time
we will try the escargots on the menu.

We were only here
for one night - our loss! What a fabulous warm welcome by our hostess
and in such lovely surroundings. Now we know where you are we'll make
our next stay longer - if you'll have us!! Thanks for a great first
night in France.

What a find! An instant warm
welcome & conversation the instance we drove up. Felt totally at home in
beautiful surroundings, great practical advice & looked forward to coming back
each night & enjoying our conversations with Debbie in the morning. Almost
regret having to stay elsewhere as we look for a possible French House to buy
for the future. Will definitely come again & hope to keep in touch.

Debbie thank you so much for
your warmth and friendliness over the last couple of days - we know where to
come if we need looking after in France! You really are lovely and you've made a
fantastic place for people to stay - so comfortable and homely. We wish you and

Dear Debbie Thank you very
much for your warmth, hospitality and most particularly your kind flexibility
with timing of our evening meal (our traffic jams = more & more late to bed for
you) Your food was gorgeous and we all slept beautifully. It was really good to
meet you - so sorry we missed David. See you again Thanks.

Dear Debbie & David, Thank
you so much for welcoming us all into your home. Toni & Joe don 't want to
leave, and we should have booked for longer (but you might have preferred
otherwise) This is an idyllic spot yet so accessible to local attractions - a
real find. Hope rest of season goes well - and beware we might be back!!! All
the best.

Dear Debbie & David, Thank
you very much for the nice days here. We slept very well but sometimes too
long.... Charlotte and I really enjoyed the swimming pool! We would loved to
take Suzie with us, there are not enough mice in our house in Holland for her.
With Love

Dear Debbie
& David can definitely show us the meaning of hospitality and
make us feel at home all the time here. It is not a
lodge/accommodation but a permanent home to us. We surely want
to come back again next year. Above all how can we miss the
opportunity to taste David's food?
