Mont St Michel - This amazing rocky islet rises out of the Bay and is a must for all who visit this area. Now a world heritage site, Mont St Michel Bay has the highest tides in Europe. As the sea ebbs it reveals one of the largest areas of mussel growing and oyster farming. |

Bayeux - This is a pretty town with cobbled streets, historic houses, a beautiful cathedral, abundant cafes and restaurants and of course the famous Bayeux Tapestry. |

Cancale
- An ancient fishing port founded in the 6th century. Originally a haven
for pirates, today Cancale is most famous for its oysters. A superb
place to visit for good seafood restaurants and splendid panoramic
views. |

Combourg
- This town is a dedication to the memory of the great writer
Francois-Rene Chateaubriand. The castle of Combourg is a medieval
fortress built between the 12th and 15th centuries and is still owned by
the descendants of the famous romantic writer. |

| Dinan - An ancient walled city overlooking the beautiful Rance Valley. It has attracted writers and artists throughout history. Wander along the narrow streets, squares and gardens or visit the Castle, the Belfrey or St Saviour’s church. |

| Dinard - A beautiful coastal town with lovely sandy beaches, coastal walks, magnificent villas and Mediterranean gardens. The river Rance is one of the prettiest in Brittany and offers plenty of opportunity for river excursions. |

Dol de Bretagne - This medieval town has one of Brittany’s oldest houses, the ‘Maison des Petits Palets”. It is steeped in memories of the Vikings who invaded the region many years ago. The cathedral is a mixture of building styles from Gothic to Romanesque. |

Fougères - This town has retained all the grandeur of its past. The chateau built between the 12th and 15th century was an outpost of medieval Brittany and is one of the best preserved fortifications in France. |

Granville - A lovely fishing port with both a harbour and marina, Granville has one of the strongest tides in Europe. The former home of Christian Dior this town offers great shopping and many good seafood restaurants. |

Rennes - Described as “one of the prettiest capital cities in the kingdom” Rennes is the capital of Brittany and offers a variety of architecture both old and new. Visit Rennes City Hall, Thabor Park, and the Commerce, Post and Telephone Building. |

St Malo - 80% of this walled seaport was destroyed in World War 2, but has been restored to its former glory. There are many restaurants, shops, historic buildings and museums. The coastline is dotted with sandy beaches and old forts. |

Villedieu-les-Poeles - Famous for its copper industry and bell foundry Villedieu has a copper and lace museum, a 15th century church and probably one of the best markets in rural France. |
